LATVIA CLAIMS CUP!

 

After what will go down as one of the tightest and highest skilled tournaments in the history of the OSHL, Latvia is your Tournament 20 champions!!!

 

Latvia began their tournament with two very tight one goal games and then went on to rattle off four games of pure dominance all the way to the finals where they met a very highly skilled and even higher potential offensive threat in Nolan Musey and Team USA. 

 

Ben Feere led the way by sniping 6 out of the 8 goals to lead Latvia to his first Legacy cup win along with two time winners Tyler Stuber and James Wiwad. Latvia also drafted always tough to play against Tyler Hovind, Matt Baer, and Ryan Gregory who had their first taste of OSHL glory. 

 

Goaltender Dave Mercier was beyond dominant from start to finish of this tournament and also wins not only his first Legacy cup, but easily takes home the Top Goalie award. 

 

Team USA player Devan Tchir takes home the Heart and Hustle award, while Latvia GM Ben Feere takes home the Tournament MVP. 

 

Huge congratulations to Team Latvia on winning the countries second Legacy Cup title and thank you to all of the players for making Tournament 20 one to remember!
